I've never panned for gold in my life, so I figured why not just go try it. Packed up the truck & headed out to the Idaho Panhandle National Forest, and found a dispersed spot to call home for the weekend.

I did a little research beforehand, watched a quick video online, and figured I'd wing the rest. Spent some time down at the river trying my luck, then came back to camp and made quesadillas that honestly turned out better than I expected.

This one's a mix of solo camping, figuring things out as I go, and just being out in the woods with nowhere to be.
