Join me as I drive Moon Pass, one of Idaho's most scenic backcountry roads, connecting the historic town of Wallace to the quiet community of Avery along the St. Joe River.

This thirty mile route follows the old Milwaukee Railroad grade, taking you through seven narrow train tunnels and over remnants of century old trestles, all set against the beautiful backdrop of the St. Joe National Forest. I eventually find a nice spot to camp along the river, and share a bit of the history behind this old electrified rail line.
